Safety Services

Keep West Park Safe

If you see a crime taking place, or if you are the victim of a crime, report it to the police. It doesn’t matter how trivial you think it might be—your report might help the police discover a pattern of crime and predict where and when the perpetrator will strike next. Although response times may vary, the police act on every call for service.

To report suspicious activity, call the non-emergency police number, 216-621-1234.

Community Engagement Officers

Cleveland Police Department’s First District is proud to employ Community Engagement Officers. Instead of responding to Police calls, the Community Engagement Officers are tasked with engaging the First District through events and programming. Keep an eye out for Officer Adams and Officer Bellomy as they work their way around the neighborhood.

Cleveland Police Department Online Reporting

Did you know you can report a crime online? If the crime has already occurred and the perpetrator is long gone, this is sometimes the best way to file a report, especially if the crime is petty theft. Use this link to make your report.
